Early 1900's wooden nut bowl with mallet. Japanese lacquer ware, built up in places to give a 3-dimensional quality. Red, black and gold designs of figures in a landscape. Bowl measures 7"d x 2.5"h; mallet 7.5"l. Has some chipping to the wooden edge of the bowl, and some chipping to the inside lacquer as shown; worn face of mallet as expected. Sold as is.
