After WWII the Japanese costume jewelry business boomed. Due to low labor costs and the desire to support rebuilding many companies sprung up using glass and plastics to create beautiful and affordable jewelry, often beaded, always well made.
These plastic beaded dangles are much lighter than the milk glass they mimic, making them easier for all day wear. Each has a small brown bead separating the two white ones, adding a touch of visual interest to a classic style.
