A great tile by Minton China Works. It is a 6" tile, fully marked on back. It depicts a scene from the series of Old English History. Henry the VIII and Queen Katherine 1528. this series was done by John Moyr Smith & signed.It would have been part of a series of 12 different tiles. This is one of the more difficult series to find, they just don't show up often. It is a great example in very good condition, some minor chipping to edges, please see image.
