Early Anheuser-Busch advertising match safe, or vesta, complete with 17 of it's original contents of wooden matches.  Stamped brass with eagle logo on front, made by William Schimper Company, who registered the patent on December 7, 1897.  Match striker on bottom, and hinged lid.  Measures 2 5/8" x 1 1/2" x 3/8".  Some dents to the soft metal, but no major issues.  Sold as is.  Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989.
