Matched pair of antique brass andirons with cast iron log rests from the early 1900s.  Federal/Colonial style turnings and finials.  3-piece construction, with "1919" on the log rests that help to identify them as being from the Howes Foundry of Boston.  Brass parts have surface wear and tarnish as shown; log rests have surface rust.  Each measures 17"h x 8"w x 18" deep.  Fits well with any Traditional or Colonial interior.  Overall in very good condition.  Sold as is.  Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989.
