Antique Cast Iron/Brass Andirons Spiral Column/Scrolls Ca. 1900

$250.00
Quantity available: 1

Matched pair of antique cast iron andirons with cast brass finials from the late 1800s to early 1900s.  Spiral column in center with scrolls on either side and feet.  Two-piece construction, with "gate marks" on the log rests that help to date them to around 1900, as the foundry methods changed after that.  Brass tops have cast mold marks of #171131.  Brass tops have surface wear and tarnish as shown; log rests have surface rust.  Each measures 16 1/8"h x 7"w x 18 1/8" deep.  Fits well with any Mediterranean or even Gothic interior.  Overall in very good condition.  Sold as is.  Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989.
