German porcelain trinket / jewelry / dresser box with hinged lid. Decorated with Chinese red glaze, romantic courting couple scene, and gold trim. Brass trim with S-clip closure. Multi-color flowers inside box bottom. Mirror inside lid shows wear and some deterioration. Marked "Germany" on bottom, dating from the early 1900s. Measures 3 3/8"d, 2 1/4"h. Lovely condition with no chips or cracks; only light wear to gold lace trim. Sold as is. Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989.
