The fabulous translucent glaze really "makes" this meditative tile in green (perhaps inspired by discoveries in Egypt at the time?) from the preeminent German tile maker, Wessel Wandplattenfabrik, c. 1900-1922.  The tile is in very good condition with light bottom edge roughness and glaze pooling original to the tile.
