German stoneware beer or wine pitcher, decorated with orange luster trim and multicolored incised designs. Tyrolean style with gryphons and masks of human form. Marked "Made in Germany" and with the mark for Simon Peter Gerz of Grenzhausen. Circa 1910. Stands  9.5"h to the top of the hinged pewter lid. Minor chips to the faces of the masks, and some dents/bends to the lid as shown.  More photos available. Sold as is. Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989.
