"Merion" pattern flat soup bowl, circa 1897, made by Grindley of England. Dark green transfer on white with embossed leaf/vine edging on a multi-sided form. Measures 9"d. Some crazing of the glaze; one bowl has a flattened point apparently done at the factory when it was made. No chips or cracks. Sold as is.
