Antique HELLER'S MALABOZA Bottle w/Labels Tiger/Natives RARE!

$175.00
Quantity available: 1

Exceptionally rare "Heller's Malaboza" brand food coloring bottle with paper labels intact.  Picture of natives with bows and arrows fending off a tiger.  The natives look African, though tigers are indigenous to the East (!). Apparently, reality had no place in advertising during the 1920s.  Round amber glass bottle with cork top, still has crystals of dried "clover leaf green" food coloring in the bottom.  Measures 9"h x 3.5"d.  Label marked "Heller's Chicago" copyright 1922.  No chips or cracks to the glass, but labels have some fading and tanning as expected with age.  Some loss to edges of labels as shown.  Sold as is.  Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989.
