Nippon/Japan biscuit barrel or cookie jar, with hand-painted butterflies and flowers, red and gold trim.  No mark,  dates from the 1890s-1930s.  Measures 5.75"h x 5"d. Translucent porcelain.  Some wear to gold highlights, and a small chip to the inside rim of the lid.  Sold as is.  Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989.
