Donatello plate with large pink roses and gold brocade crescent background, made by Rosenthal of Selb, Bavaria. Art Nouveau styling, and of the period. Dates from around 1900. Well marked, and factory decorated. Measures 11.75"d handle-to-handle, with a smooth edge and plenty of gold trim. Near mint condition with no chips or cracks, very little wear.
