Royal Satsuma Nippon bowl with male & female figures in cameos, with abstract patterns in background. Sits on 3 ball feet, likely a mayonnaise, whipped cream or master nut bowl, but useful for many things. Hand painted multi-color glazes and gold trim. 1891-1921. Measures 4.5"d x 2"h. No chips or cracks, but shows wear in bottom of bowl and some wear to gold on high points. Sold as is. Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989.
