Bavarian porcelain oval vegetable bowl with lid, made by Zeh Scherzer & Co. Early 1900's (mark used 1880+). Unknown pattern name, though shape is identified as "Orleans"; ZSC4 on a popular replacements site. Pink rose swag decals with hand painted gold decoration. Measures 10 1/2" handle-to-handle; 5 1/4" to top of lid. Good condition, with no chips or cracks, only slight gold wear and some iron stains to the unglazed areas as shown. Sold as is.
