Sterling silver oval soup spoon pair in the "Union" pattern. Made by John R. Wendt & Co. of New York City, and retailed by Ball, Black & Company. Made during the U.S. Civil War Era, 1850s-60s. Measure 7" long.  Handles inscribed "Crosby".  Have some tarnish and scratches as shown, and one bowl has a few dents in the rim. Sold as is, and as a pair. Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989.
