Monumental art pottery vase by Florence Barlow with Doulton Lambeth marks from the 1891-1902 period. Stands 20 3/8"h, roughly 6" diameter at widest point. Features small birds and thistle flowers in a continuous wrap-around scene with stippled background. Has no actual damage, yet has the following factory flaws: glaze skips and glitches, one near bird wing as shown; kiln grit on brown glaze of foot; separation of unglazed clay inside bottom of foot that does not go through to the inside (water tested with no leaks).
