Railfair 81 Stephenson's Rocket postcard. On the back of this postcard it states-Stephenson's Rocket (replica) was entered in Railfair '81 by the National Railway Museum at York, England. The Original Rocket was built by Robert Stephenson & Company in 1829 for entry in the Rainhill Steam Trials being held by the Liverpool & Manchester Railway in October of 1929. It is 5 1/2" w x 3 1/2", excellent condition.
