Large and exquisite Nippon bowl, circa 1906. Royal Kinran was made mostly for the domestic market in Japan. Hand painted pink & yellow roses with burgundy red border and lots of gold. More clusters of roses painted on outside of bowl. Blue mark on bottom. Measures 11 3/8"d x 3"h. Excellent condition with no chips or cracks, only slight wear to gold on edge of bowl. Highly detailed shape with embossed design as well as gold beading. Price recently reduced. Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989.
