Royal Nishiki Nippon vase with orange-red background and hand-painted enamels. Pieces like this were mostly made for the domestic market in Japan, between 1906-1921. Measures 9.75"h, 5.5"d at the flared rim. Marked on bottom "29/10". Has tiny flea bites to red glaze of rims; some chipping of the thick enamel decoration. No chips or cracks to the porcelain body.
