John Maddock & Sons of England Royal Vitreous covered butter dish, 1880-1896. Known as MAD283 on a popular replacements site.  Small Pink roses and blue flowers with brown & green4 scrolls. Measures 4"h to top of handle x 7" x 6". Some wear to gold trim, small crack in top handle as shown, iron stains bleeding through pottery from age. Sold as is.  Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989.
