This large ( 3" ) cut steel brooch has genuine chrysoprase stones in it. This wonderous  stone is  gentle, soothing, friendly, has spiritual protection, prevents depression, increases grace and equilibrium and is said to increase fertility. The Victorians were known for using stones for healing and or protection. This metal sticks to a magnet so I am pretty sure it is cut steel.Chrysoprase is said to be the favorite gemstone of Alexander the Great.
