Art Deco cup & saucer, hand-painted with a geometric landscape showing towers, trees & triangles. Orange luster accented with red, cobalt blue, and a touch of pink for the buildings. Clearly marked with both "Nippon" & "Japan", though maker remains unidentified. Circa 1920s. Cup measures 3 7/8"d x 2"h; saucer 5 1/2"d. Nice condition with no chips or cracks; very little wear.
