Angular Art Deco figural cat toothpick holder, or cachepot. Dates from the 1930s with a black "Made in Japan" ink stamp on bottom. Brown on white air-brushed glaze with red trim. Measures 3 7/8"h. Abstract design makes this cat look tough! Reminds me of a Mack Truck bulldog. Excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989.
