Hotel restaurant plate from "The Shelburne" of Atlantic City, New Jersey, corner of Michigan and Boardwalk. Top-marked with ships in shields from the early days, and encircled with 2 blue lines. Maddock's Lamberton China back-stamp dates between the 1890's to 1911. Oval plate or small platter, measures 6.5" x 9.5". Has surface wear from utensils, but no chips or cracks. Sold as is. Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989.
