Majolica plates with embossed yellow pears and green leaves, made in Italy in the 1960's. An obvious copy of the French Sarreguemines version of the same design and earlier date. Each measures 8"d. Has a few surface flakes as shown, but no large chips or cracks. Sold as is, and as a pair. Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989.
