"Venus" pattern bowl, made by Podmore, Walker & Co., from 1834-49. Blue transfer on white. Measures 6"d x 1.25"h. Has a slightly heavier body than the ones later made by Wedgwood & Co. of Staffordshire, England. There are some minor differences in the pattern as well. Nice condition with some surface wear and crazing, but no chips or cracks. Sold as is. Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989.
