"Fireside Comfort" single bookend, made by the Armor Bronze Co. of New York. Circa 1930. Man in chair near fireplace, reading book...love the dog under the chair! Inscription across back "G.S. Allen". Measures 7.75"h x 6.125"w x 4.5" deep. Nice patina, with only some flaking to the cauldron, and a dent to the top, as shown. Sold as is. Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989.
