English brass fire screen with embossed sailing ship design on front. Often used in pubs to shield patrons from the open fireplace. Dates from around the 1950s. Cast brass feet and handle. Measures 16"w x 24.25"h. Has a complete sheet of brass on the back side, as well. Has a casting flaw to one foot, but does not affect it's function. Sold as is. Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989.
