Vintage "La Delfa" Hotel restaurant ware relish dish, with burgundy red logo and band. Hotel was located at 112 Main St., Mt. Morris, New York. Building lot is now vacant. Hotel hosted many big bands of the time, including Gene Krupa. Found some information on an old matchbook, which is shown in the photos (not included). Made by Buffalo China of New York, marked "Ye Olde Ivory", dating from 1929 to early 1940s. Measures 4 3/4" x 9 7/8" x 1 1/4"h. Shows only light wear to the surface and no chips or cracks. Has some rust stains at edges from the iron deposits in the clay. Sold as is. Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989.
