Shenango restaurant ware plate, top-marked "IU" for the Indiana University dining hall. Single maroon red band around rim with same color shield logo. Back-stamp indicates a manufacture date of January to June 1978. Measures 9"d. Light to moderate surface wear, with no chips, but does have a star crack on the back that does not go through to the front. Sold as is. Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989.
