"Currier & Ives" platter with multi-color print of 3 men fishing in a boat, entitled "Catching a trout", made by Scio Pottery Co. of Ohio. Company began in 1932 as a work project of the Depression. This pattern is from the 1950s-60s. Measures 9" x 11.75" oval, made on the "Ransom" shape. Impressed "U.S.A." mark. Very little wear, no chips or cracks. Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989.
