Restaurant ware platter made for the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity, location unknown. Formerly known as the "Knights of Classic Lore", founded in 1899, there were 304 chapters still active in the 1970s. Made by Jackson China; date code for December 1959. "TKE" top mark with 2 red stripes around border. Measures 9 3/8" x 13 5/8" oval. No chips or cracks, but has some surface wear from utensils. Sold as is. Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989.
