Cast iron woodstove humidifier "cash-po" with pierced lid, made by Virginia Metalcrafters in the 1940s-50s era. Marked on underside, "Minuette" and "26-5". Well-worn green paint allows oxidized iron to show through, though it can be cleaned up nicely if desired. Victorian urn shape, measures 6.5"l x 3.125"w x 5.25"h. Can also be used for many different things, like an incense burner, potpourri jar, and flower display. Sold as is. Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989.
