Burgundy red bands and verge line on Santan restaurant ware platter, made by Wellsville China.  Dates from 1955.  Measure 9.5" x 13.75" oval, and very heavy.  Good condition with no chips or cracks, only moderate surface wear.  Sold as is.  Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989.
