Vintage figural chicken egg topper, or shell cutter, for soft-boiled eggs. Marked with the Wusthof trident, Dreizack, Germany. Made of Solingen steel with gold-plating, which is mostly intact. Measures 5.25"l, with a well-working hinge. Unknown date, but definitely before 1998 when the company removed the word "Dreizack". Some wear to gold on handles, but in overall nice condition.
