World War II era U.S. Navy "Watch" mug, made by Corning Glass. Designed with no handle, the 1/4" thick mug was held to warm the hands by those on "watch" on the open seas. Made of opal/milk glass, with the Corning glass blower mark on bottom. Measures 3.5"h x 3.75"d. Has a small chip and minor abrasions, but in overall good condition. Sold as is. Glows slightly under UV light due to the high manganese content. Inglenook Antiques....Established 1989.
