This is a good used full sweep 11/16" wide tanged gouge chisel marked W. Butcher. It's very sharp, and in very good condition with plenty of length and good use left. The handle is very solid, nice patina and has some grain separations, but is still very tight and solid, has a good brass ferrule. A very good quality chisel, by a well known Sheffield England maker.
